The Episcopal Cathedral of St Luke is pleased to give you a warm welcome.

Serving Panama City, Republic of Panama, since 1924.

The Cathedral of St Luke is the principal church of the Episcopal Church of Panama (Diocese of Panama) and episcopal seat of the Most Reverend Julio Murray Th., Bishop of Panama and Primate / Archbishop of the Anglican Church of the Central Region of America (IARCA) .

St Luke’s is a family church; it is multicultural, multiracial, bilingual (Spanish and English) and inclusive for all the sons and daughters of God. All those who come with a heart willing to share their Christian life, friendship, service, experience, gifts and talents, or those who simply wish to silently explore the love, faith, and implementation of the message of Jesus Christ, have a place in our house of prayer. Let us never forget that the Church is a hospital for the broken, the lost, the empty, the confused, the desperate, and the rejected. Every sinner has a future and every saint has a past.

The cathedral liturgy we celebrate is dignified and appropriate, yet flexible and contemporary. Our members include both Episcopalians with long family histories in the church and Christians of various backgrounds and denominations, all of whom are equally comfortable with each other because of the practical way we live the faith of Jesus. Along with worship, St Luke’s is distinguished by its evangelization through community service. We believe in and strive to build the Beloved Community which is the Kingdom of God in our neighborhood. We practice what we preach. Community service ministries are fundamental in our following of Jesus, because we want to be disciples of Christ and not just members in the human sense of every church.

Do you want to worship God? Listen to his Word, and have the opportunity to serve your neighbor? Don’t think about it twice and come to San Lucas, a community of radical love.

God bless you

Rev. D. Adrian Cardenas
