Our Worship Style
In the Episcopal Church, it is often said that “praying shapes believing.” Worship is central to the life of our church and through prayer and song, we seek to glorify God, through Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Episcopalians worship in many different styles, ranging from very formal, ancient, and multi-sensory rites with lots of singing, music, luxurious vestments, and incense, to informal services with contemporary music and less formal dress. Yet all worship in the Episcopal Church of Panama is based on the Book of Common Prayer which unifies Anglicans and Episcopalians from all over the world.
